  1. -What is the meaning of UTOPIA? What would you find in such a world? Is such a world possible? Why? Why not?

Utopia is a name for an ideal community or society. What can we find there? Everything that the man consider perfect for a society. I mean, peace, not hunger, no wars, and so far and so on.

Is such a world Possible? Of course not! Come on, the ideal is not real. And if it were possible, would be sooo boring!

  2. -What is the meaning of DYSTOPIA?

A dystopia is a vision of an often futuristic society, which has developed into a negative version of Utopia, in which society has degraded into a repressive, controlled state.

What do you think the book "1984" is about?

    Politic theme? War? Control mental?

  4. Utopia is an ideal and perfect state, especially in its social, political and moral aspects.
We could find there all the perfect things that we can imagine like equality in the society, work, food for all in the same quality and quantity.
That world it would be impossible now a days, because we are not ready for that.
A dystopia is a perverse utopia where reality takes in terms opposite to those of an ideal society.
I think the book in about a dystopia, where the author try to show as a society with problems.

  5. An utopia is any idealized place, state, or situation of perfection.

In a place like that the perfection is present as a philosophy of life, there is a perfect balance between the people that live there.
From my point of view a place like that is impossible due to the fact that nothing is perfect and the human being is caracterized for being imperfect.

A dystopia is an imaginary place or state in which the condition of life is extremely bad, as from deprivation, oppression, or terror.

I agree with gabriela , the book can be about a dystopia, perhaps is a kind of comparison between the "dystopia" whice ios the real world at that time and an "utopia" which is the world they or he would like to live in.

  6. 1) An Utopia is a name for an ideal community or society possessing a seemingly perfect socio-politico-legal system.
In such a World we would find: An organized society,an efficient goverment system, happy people,no social division, no discrination...
I don't think that an utopia would be possible nowadays, to reach that the whole society should change absolutely.
    2) A dystopia is an state in which the condition of life is extremely bad as from deprivation or oppression or terror.
To me the book is about a story related to social and political conflicts or wars, because of the background of the artist, the age in which the story was written and other details that make me think this.

  7. ◘ What is the meaning of UTOPIA?

Utopia is something unrealizable, because of its optimistic aspect at the moment of its realization.

◘ What would you find in such a world?

In a utopian world there would be no hunger or war, peace would reign.

◘ Is such a world possible? Why? Why not?

At present it is not possible because they are difficult things to achieve, and in which all must agree, everyone would have to participate and there should be no inequality.

◘ What is the meaning of DYSTOPIA?

Dystopia is a "perverse utopia" where reality sets in terms opposite to those of an ideal society, it is usually used as the antonym of utopia.

◘ What do you think the book "1984" is about?

I think that "1984" can be about a totalitarian and controller regime where nothing is private and everything is controlled by the government.
